How To: Use Slide Bracelets

Our gorgeous slide bracelets are a perfect gift for the upcoming holidays! They are adjustable and will fit any sized wrist. The bracelets can be a bit tricky at first, however with the guide below on how to properly open and close them,  you will learn to adjust them with ease!

Step 1:

Grasp the bracelet with both hands where the stones or crystals end on each side. 

Step 2:

Pull the two sides away from each other; your bracelet will slide open.

Step 3:

Place your wrist inside the bracelet.

Step 4:

Grasp the two dangling ends.

Step 5:

Pull the two dangling ends of the cord in opposite directions until the bracelet is as tight as you wish.

How To: A Guide for Designing with our Gorgeous New Crystal Enhancers

Our exclusive new Crystal Enhancers are an amazing addition to the Clearance Charms family!  We are so proud to present these breathtaking works of art to our fabulous customers family!  They are a really innovative new way to design with charm bracelets so we want to ensure that you know how you can incorporate them when designing your own creation.  Follow along for a tutorial on these exquisite shimmering jewels!

 

 

These incredibly unique pieces slip right onto your sterling silver bracelet just like your charms do. 

Our smaller sized Crystal Enhancers are 36.8mm X 10.1mm. The Enhancers are equal in length to 5 standard crystal charms:   

 

And our larger Enhancers are 53.8mm X 10mm. The Enhancers are equal in length to 7 standard crystal charms:

They are the ideal centerpiece to any design and also create an dazzling look by using two on a single bracelet.

Here are some examples on how to build your bracelet over time using the new Crystal Enhancers:

Step1:  Start with one Enhancer in the center and use other beads to help accent the Enhancer.

Step 2:  Add onto your bracelet using an additional enhancer. Move the Enhancers to the sides of your bracelet and add additional beads between the two.  A Signature Dangle Charm or Fimo Clay Bead make perfect center pieces, as shown below.

Step 3:  Finish off your bracelet with some spectacular beads, such as; a Mosaic CZ, or Faceted Crystal Charm. Try to use the same number of charms on each side.  Don’t forget to add a stopper or lock to keep the charms from falling off your bracelet.

Now let’s build some designs with the new Large Crystal Enhancers:

Step1: If you already have a theme or central beads in mind for your bracelet, run with it!  Start with one Enhancer in the center of your bracelet. The great thing about these new pieces are that they even look great by themselves on your bracelet!

Step 2: Add onto your bracelet using additional  beads and charms to accent the gorgeous center Enhancer.

Step 3: Fill in the blanks! Add in beads and charms that suit your theme and style to fill up the bracelet. Don’t forget to add a stopper or lock to keep the charms from falling off your bracelet.

After some adjusting, I have all the charms arranged in a design that is both gorgeous, and a reflection of my personality and style.  Take your time and have fun with your bracelet and make sure it illustrates your style and personality.  Remember, the beads don’t have to match perfectly, they just need to flow together.

Katie is the Associate Brand Manager here at NewDreamz. She has a multitude of different tasks that she handles on a daily basis, including overseeing the production team and handling promotions. Katie is responsible for ensuring that the NewDreamz philosophy is represented properly. She creates website content, designs graphics for ads and manages several NewDreamz social outlets.
      

 Katie says;

I was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina and hold the mountains near and dear to my heart. I studied Art and French during college and have always had a great passion for design, creating art, and French culture. I believe you grow from everything you encounter in life so I try to fill my life with new experiences and adventures. A few of my favorite things include good music, fashion editorials, black and white films, balloons, fabulous shoes, the great outdoors, and old books. My dream in life is to travel and take in as much as I possibly can from the world around me.

Question of the Week: Where is the Promotion Code on my Postcard?

Hi! I am placing an order with Clearance Charms and would like to use the $5 off promo code I received with my last purchase. I can’t seem to find the code on this postcard. Is it under the sticker that says Promo Code? I peeled it off but nothing is underneath it.

This is a great question and a very common one. The promotion code is the word that is listed on the blue sticker under the line $5 OFF. That word or phrase can be entered in the promotion code box during checkout to receive $5 off a $30 purchase.

Here at Clearance Charms, Cheri is a very important part of our team. As Production Coordinator, Cheri manages all aspects of order fulfillment. Cheri oversees that every bead is in impeccable shape before it is packaged and shipped out to our wonderful customers. She also helps with customer service and any other tasks that need to be completed throughout our busy days. She is a very friendly and outgoing person with a very uplifting and positive attitude. Cheri is also a very talented bracelet designer as you can see from this fabulous creation she has made!
      

 Cheri says;

I grew up in Wilmington NC and attended college at North Carolina State University. My passion for the beach and the desire to be around beautiful surroundings is what brought me here to Charleston, South Carolina. One of my favorite pastimes is taking a ride around the neighborhood to local restaurants and the beach on the tandem bicycle I share with the love of my life. I also enjoy spending time with my two very silly yet adorable nieces who love going to the park and indulging in pink ice cream with their Auntie! On the weekends if I am not on the beach soaking up some much needed sunshine I can be found cuddled up on the couch taking a cat nap with my kittens.

The concept behind the design of my bracelet stems from all things I surround myself with: warm whimsical days and love that is here to stay.

Question of the Week: Are you Pandora or do you sell Pandora?

 I have a Pandora bracelet and was wondering if you sell Pandora charms or if your charms will fit on my bracelet?

This is a very common question that we hear from many of our first time buyers.

No we are not Pandora, we are Clearance Charms. We design, manufacture and distribute our own unique line of charms and beads. Our products fit Pandora, Troll, Biagi, and Chamillia. We use all the same fine materials that our competitors use including solid .925 sterling silver, hand blown murano glass, crystals, 24K gold vermeil, fimo clay, handcrafted shell and wood beads.

Question of the Week: How to Clean your Charms

Some of my charms have gotten dirty since I have been wearing my bracelet so much. How do I make them sparkle like when I first got them?

As with everything else you hold dear, your jewelry needs regular tender loving care too.  As a general rule of thumb, treat your charms with as much care as you would any other piece of fine jewelry in your collection.

For cleaning, simply use lukewarm soapy water with a soft toothbrush to very gently scrub the jewelry. Then rinse it off in clean water. To remove caked on dirt, let your jewelry soak in lukewarm soapy water for up to ten minutes. Gently scrub then rinse in clean water.

Remember to never expose your jewelry that has been oxidized to harsh chemicals that can alter the appearance of your product. These chemicals include, but are not limited to; liquid silver polish, hot tubs, pools, and spas.

We also suggest using one of our great polishing cloths, specially formulated for European charm bracelets.  To keep your charms glistening like the very first day you got them, give them a good rub down with your polishing cloth once a week.  After all, what woman doesn’t want to sparkle?
